Need help w/ new style

Alright, I'm looking to grow my hair into a new style but I'm not sure what style to choose. I have a couple of pics:

this one i like the general layering/texturing of, even though my hair doesn't have that exact texture.

this one is really cool and closer to my natural texture and i'm sure it'd be easier to work with

here's my hair, pretty straight and coarse.

i'd really rather not go any shorter (imo i look horrible with shorter hair) so if you have any recs something around my current length would be good.
