I am so incredibly bored with my hair. I have an appt. for tomorrow morning, and need some advice. I have fine hair (but a lot of it), a couple inches below my shoulders. I am sick to death of layers, layers, razoring, whispiness. I would kill for a blunt cut, all one length hairstyle. Every time I mention this to a stylist they say no way. Why? What is wrong with a blunt cut? I keep seeing girls around with bangs and blunt cut hair just below their shoulders, and I love it, but I can`t find a stylist who likes this style.

What to you guys think? And I`m also still trying to decide on the bangs/no-bangs thing. I find that straight hair just parted and hanging there looks really harsh on me and I need something to soften my look. Any ideas?

I don`t know what is wrong with the stylists. It sounds like you are a perfect client for a nice sleek bob. Have you asked for a bob? I just love a bob around chin length (bottom curves under) with some bangs. It is a timeless hairstyle that is perfect for fine but thick hair (I know my wife has the exact same hair type)
