Hey, I just bleached and toned my hair into oblivion, and I've found and used a good deep treatment for my hair but my scalp is still very, very dry. I have Ojon treatment, but when I went to a class for it, the rep said not to use it on newly colored hair because it will fade it. Does anyone have any ideas as to helping me get a healthier scalp? Thanks in advance Clap

That's funny, I bought the Ojon Restorative Treatment from the shopping network and during demos they said you could use it straight after hair dying, but not before. It's because it closes and seals the hair's cuticle and won't let hair dye penetrate. If you use it after it will close the cuticle and lock in your colour, making it last a lot longer.

How have you found the Ojon? I have the shampoo/conditioner, treatment and styling cream as well. I love it!

Ps. "Newly" may have meant the day of, or a few days after. Maybe wait a week? That's how long it's advised to wait before colouring, anyway.

I love it now, but when I 1st went to the class and tried it, it weighed my hair down so much that I couldn't do anything with it. Now, since it's really dry, I'm guessing that it'll make it a little more managable. I've used it on numerous people as deep treatments at work and it has always helped tremendously.

Strange thing: The rep said that it was good for people who had dandruff or psoriosis, and it is! My mom had psoriosis, and it's helped her scalp out a lot.

I know, it meant to cure all sorts of sculp problems.

It's actually given me MORE body, which was very suprising.

I used Biolage moisturizing deep conditioner last night for 15 minutes, and it seemed to help my hair a little, but my scalp is still very, very scaly and itchy. I used a little bit of Ojon on the itchy, scaly parts and it was soaked up very quickly. This morning, I'm still itchy and scaly, though. I'm guessing it'll pass in time?

You should try using a medicated shampoo and conditioner. You may also be experiencing a dry/itchy sculp because of an overload of products/chemicals. I had this problem a few years ago and cutting down on products really helped.
