Well Ladies the last time we talked I was undecided about what extension method I wanted to do next. I went and had LG done. I love the hair and I love the method except the constant itching. I tried scalpacin and it last about a 1/2 hour then the itching never stops. I had them in for a week and a half and I had to wash it twice, once after 5 days and another one yesterday. I have some lifting and lost the bottom weft so far, I have not had time to go to the store for the glue but i plan on it tomm to fix the wefts that have lifted. My big question is Can i reuse these wefts if they have glue on them? And how often should I take them out and reglue them? Also any advice on getting rid of the itching?
Currant method Hair locs.

You will get use to it. Most likely if the bottom weft has come off already you didn't place them high enough. Most people place them half way between the ears, I personally put them almost to the top. If there's not a lot of grip on the bottom for the hair to hold, it will fall out :(

Or if they were placed right maybe you just didn't put enough?

Sorry I cant help you with the itching. Ususally once I wash my hair and the extensions flow freely as in they are not like litterly glued to my head but flow with my natural hair the itching seems to go away after that. Some people are different then others thats why some perfer different methods of installation (weft/sew ins are notorious for itching)

And for your question... yes, you can absolutely reuse the weft. Some people perfer not to after they have glue all over them but I use mine as many times as I can. You can also try to remove the glue from the weft with acetone if it bothers you.

You can take them out and reglue them whenever you want. But generally it's a good idea to take them out every 3 months since  by now they probably arn't holding on to as much hair as they were when you installed them and breakage can occur. I don't LG will hold this long anyway...
I'm selfish, impatient, & a little insecure, I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times, hard to handle. But if you cant handle me at my worst, then you sure as HELL dont deserve me at my best

Hi Sourgirl,
I know, itching is a pain... Avalon Organics shampoo for scalp is a good soothing shampoo, let it sit a few minutes and rinse, you'll feel a little better! LG usually holds between 5 to 7 weeks, I like my install to be out after 5 weeks -to help my scalp!- and I take out the weft with pure acetone and Goo Gone. Goo Gone is especially great to clean LG residus, just let it in your natural hair for a few minutes, LG will become gooey and soft, then comb through with a thin comb.
Use a clarifying shampoo like Neutrogena anti residus afterwards, it helps too.
I clean my wefts and re-use them for several installs ( 3 or 4), I guess it depends of the quality of the hair you're wearing!
