so everyone remember how i got balmain extensions in? Well I noticed after a while that they were damaging my hair, and the lady i would going to was not available for a couple weeks. So right now im literally surrounded by friends trying to get these bonds out but they will not budge. I am assuming balmain is fusion? We have tried everything from acetone, crunching etc. but they will not come out! does anyone know if balmain uses a special removal?
I think they use either alcohol or acetone. I took the Balmain training class and I applied a few sets to clients and had the same difficult time removing them, so I opted not to do that brand again. The glue is super hard. You may want to try applying conditioner all over your head and trying to slide the bonds down carefully.
metalgirl, i thank you so much for this information. i thought i was being retarded and couldnt figure out how to get them out. out of reading your post and researching a bit i found that a lot of people have had problems removing these bonds. Let me say I would not recomment balmain extensions to anybody that is trying to take them out. if a licensed professional (metalgirl) has a hard time, then believe me its horrible for a diyer. it took 4 people in my bathroom last night to get that crap out of my head. it was pretty funny because we were all high on fumes of acetone and drinking at the same time. anyway we found out you have to literally sit there with a papertowl and soak the bond in acetone for 5 minutes or more until it turns white, and if its stubborn you could be sitting there for up to 10 minutes for one bond. it was the craziest thing i ever saw, it was like the glue was from a hot glue gun. i will never use that method again for sure
