i want to get my hair cut. but i dont know what kind i should get. my hair is down pass my shoulders. i have really really thick hair and i also have a double chin. i want to get it cut short but i just dont know what kind of style i would look good on me. any advice on what kind of style i should get.

It's pretty hard to make a suggestion without a picture.... Even if you block out our face its better than nothing...

 
A fairly generic look that seems to work well for most people is just at or a touch above shoulders, side part with longish bangs.  The back and side are usaully layered a little and most that have it use a flat iron to get it to look right... just my thought...
