hi
went to hair show ALLL day today- it was huge and awesome. Tons to see and of course buy. And boy did I.
There were so many hair extension boothes this year it wasnt even funny- i know there were parts of the show i didnt even cover.
The main extensions everyone was doing was the loc kind, every one was doing them, carrying them and had a different name. Most of same tools too-
there were a few selling glue ones too-
i never did see the one we talked about in another thread, sorry couldnt remember which thread that was in. IT was one with  a lazer beam, i never found that one.

hi
i forgot to mention there were lots of clip in pieces. top pieces and wefts and whole back pieces.
and then a few booths were doing ind. piecs of small wefts, cut and the tape and using the flat iron to heat, they were sandwhiched. seems a bit like Metal girls new creation. That was interesting.
Malibu-  most of the hair vendors carry the same hair that comes from china and asia. Its all packaged the same, felt the same and honestly i wasnt impressed. There is one company that actually gave me some hair to test for her. I will test it and if its good, let everyone know. However...
i actually did find one that caught my eye!
its a top clip in piece. Latley i have noticed that the top and back of my hair is breaking off from over bleaching and back combing- i found  this one company that has hand tied human hair clip in additions. quite costly though, however yes, i did purchase one, let me do my hair this week and i Promise to take before and afters. I signed up with the company to be a signature stylist so i could offer it as an alternative to my clients and whoever might be interested. the starting price range is from $400 and up depending on length. can be from a short to way long.
i have always in the back of my mind thought something like this was going to be an option for me, however i never found one that looked so natural. In fact after the show i went to one of my very best friends house. She says, gosh girl, your hair looks amazing today!! i didnt tell her...hee hee. i will this week. then when i came home my husband who usually doesnt pay attention to my hair said, your hair looks different, what did u do? i showed him!! he was shocked.... so we shall see. i have lots of clients who would definetly benifit from this. there is only so high up can u go with extensions to cover thinning, this is a perfect solution and addition.
