Changeing my Hair, opinions?

Well right now my hair is narually curly
but i straighten it every time im going to be seen in public
I use wax to keep it straighter but matte to make it stand up a little

Im Probably going to get it Japanese straightend, dye it black
and get a white bang, about where sweeny todd's is dyed
I wear my hair infront of my face, not up like sweenys

So, whats everyone opinion?
Id like to know if i should get it straightend before i get it dyed..
or what?

any help or comments are appreciated
