HI there!

I am meeting with a woman here in town about microlinks tomorrow and I really appreciate all the help so far.  Now I have another question, I have very oily hair and I am concerned because if I don't wash it daily, I don't leave the house.  Its that bad.  I got the bad hair gene apparently.  LOL  So are there any other ladies with oily hair that have had success with extensions?  Thanks in advance!

My hair gets pretty oily when I am not blonde ( and therefore not bleaching)
I will say I find the micro-links slip more this way, but either way make sure you get silicone lined.

I have baby fine hair which needs to be washed daily without extensions.  Since I only wash my hair twice a week now I use baby powder/cornstarch on the roots to absorb to oil between washings.  I have dark brown hair so I was actually just looking at the Bumble & Bumble hair power.  It is pretty much baby powder but tinted dark brown

I have had fusion and micro links - both are difficult with oily hair but I am sticking with micro links.  I do lose a few here and there, but it is so mush less damage to your hair.

Thank Sky!  I will look into the Bumble & Bumble powder.  I have darker brown hair too so the baby powder/cornstarch makes me look like Norman Bates' mom!  lol

i reccommend my clients to shampoo only the top of their own hair, put your hair in a pony tail, clip it back, comb all of your hair on top foward, secure with clip- get in shower, take out own hair out of clip and shampoo, cond, once out of shower, dry and style as usual. clean hair in a jiffy-
Bringing beauty, one head at a time...
