QuoteReplyTopic: Sally's Hair Extensions (Satin Strands?) Posted: February 18 2008 at 9:09pm
Has anyone tried the satin strands from sallys? I'm considering buying them.... my friend got some hair in the 80-90$ range from sallys and I thought they looked great after all she did to them but she couldn't recal what the name was and satin strands is the only 80-90$ hair there according to there website so I think that's what she has, but im not sure. I wanted to know if anyone else has used this hair before?
I'm also interested in there sassy collection hair. It's super cheap like $30 but I hear a lot of girls are wearing it?
I'm selfish, impatient, & a little insecure, I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times, hard to handle. But if you cant handle me at my worst, then you sure as HELL dont deserve me at my best

ah i just bought some of the sassy hair not too long ago but didnt like it, the bottom is obviously single drawn so its really thin : ( but if you like less thickness at the end of your hair maybe its for you!

If u are wearing them as clip ins they are fine for awhile....I put them in with protac tape and that hair dried out so fast and crawled up my neck like a ragging cat.....it was bad....I couldn't put enought product on it to keep it from tangling.....it's fine for clipins I guess....maybe they will work better for you.....live and learn I say.....lol.....hey I had to try them.....
Thanks,

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

I have the satin strands in right now and am very pleased. i found them to be very thick and shiny and so far tangle free. She said they are their most popular hair, they have to keep them on lock down because people steal them all the time. She said to use their weave hair shampoo for best results with their hair, I went ahead and got some weave shampoo and conditioner. I use my expensive shampoo on my hair at the scalp and the weave stuff on the extension hair, so far so good! :o)

I tried this product myself (the weft type). It was very nice at first but did not last very long. I shampoo every other day and the coating was gone by the third week. I had to remove them after a month as the tangling was too much. Perhaps a good product to try if you are looking for something very inexpensive and do not shampoo often. The extensions I usually use last six months to a year but they are remy and never tangle, just get dry.
