for a few months now my scalp has been abnormally flaky. im not talking little itty-bitty dandruff sized flakes, im talking HUGE pieces of my scalp literally coming off! :( ive tried normal and anti-dandruff shampoos, but all they do is make it itch really badly and dry my already dry hair out even more! please guys/girls i really need ur help on this one because i dont know what to do anymore! :(

If its that bad, you need to see a doctor.  It may be psoriasis or another condition, and your doc can best advise you on what to do about it.

I'd definitely go to the doctor... this sounds like it could be a medical condition.

I also agree go see a doctor, as normal dandruff would not cause this.
