Well i am do for a maintence on my hair locs and I am losing two to three bonds a day, My stylist is off this weekend and can't see me until the 16th. So what do I do in the meantime? not brush or wash my hair? IS she going to charge me more for the bonds coming out? I am kind of upset because I sent her two new clients and I feel she should fit me in somewhere. Just needed to vent thanks.

loosing a few bonds a day within a two month period is not that un common. i have some clients that do not loose one single strand for 8 weeks, and others that loose about 10- 20 strands within 8 weeks. just depends. all my clients come in every 7 or 8 weeks, no longer.
so you have had them a week or so shy of two mths-
you can  continue brushing or washing, not all of them are going to come out.
depending upon how she charges, will determine how she charges for the ones that come out, if she charges hourly- then it will just be done during that time with no extra charge.
For refferals, what did she do to thank  you?
some stylists give free hair, or products , i give cold hard cash!!!

I understand your frustration. It would of been nice if  she would of squeezed you in or had someone else put those few back in for you. If she was planning to go  out of town, then purhaps she was booked solid to not have room to get u in.
I can tell you this, if she is a good stylist, then i can bet she DOES feel bad.
When my clients have an issue or time restraint and i cant accomidate then right away, i feel bad. Sometimes there really isnt anything we can do at that moment, but i am sure she will try to make it up to you.
Hang in there, be careful with your hair and hopefully no more will come out.

My policy is that I replace up to 20 bonds free of charge within the 12 week period.

Good luck on solving the problem, hopefully she will work with you.
