Has anyone used the skin wefts from His and Her or from Glamour Hair? I am wondering if anyone has feedback...or any other suggestions about where to get some decent ones. I know some members have made them - but I am WAY too much of a spaz with hair and glue to try it. I would probably hurt myself.
I have worn the seamless hair from Glamourhair. The good points are: it is very easy to install and the color I picked (blonde color) was beautiful and very natural looking
Bad points: the hair quality is so so, a bit coarse, and it doesn't feel like you get much hair for the price you paid. I think they say it's 4oz, and it feels much much less.
it does depend on the quality of the hair. if the cuticle is removed it's all down hill from there. 4 oz. is really not enough for a full head, you need atleast 6 oz. to achieve a full head application. It all depends on the vendor and if they are honest about what they sell. good luck, if you need me to furnish them, i''ll be happy to offer you grade "best quality" hair for a reasonable price for the hair market these days..

oh, well maybe that the vendors. they should offer what they advertise. A thing I suggest my clients and friends to do is to get a small cheap scale that measures about 1 pound. You can by them on pharmacy online stores. They also measure in grams. 4 oz. is 113 grams, so if it's off when you receive your order, you can call them on that. And forgive me frenchie, 4 oz. is enough for some heads.. I think it has to do with the individuals preference. Do you get a full head application from 4 oz.? I need 6 oz. because I have thin hair, so I like to add natural but full volume to my head... Bohyme is good. I've never heard of the other vendor. Your hair is gorgeous in that pic by the way Frenchie ;-)

I know some girls who consider 4 oz to be even too much for them! I have a tiny head too! I am now wearing around 6 oz, I think it is the good amount, but I went from 18' to 22'! Someone on this forum mentioned the fact that the silicone/skin weft part might weight a little and therefore you might get 4oz but not 4 oz of hair.
Glamourhair seamless hair is ok but they had such a bad customer service...
oh well customer service is key!! That's how you keep your customers duhh. My customers are high maintenence ( nothing wrong with that), so I have to come with the best! haha... I also wear my hair long in 18-22". I love the length, it's oh so sexy to me. I must say something to you, and other vendors may not like it, but the hair should be weight first and then handtied to make the skin weft. "You can't make the excuse of: Well the polyurethane weight has to be calculated" Come on!! If a client is generous enough to pay you for your services... ok nuff said.. I'll get mad. I've seen a few vendors starting out that are pretty good and trustworthy, but the rest.. ewww...
6 oz. suits me well. I have a little head and very thin hair, and I use to do the glue in method with extensions, and it pulled my hair out really bad! I has a bald spot at one time, ( partially because when they wore out, I would just pull them out.. hehe) so I do sew ins and full lace wigs now, so My hair has grown out a great deal.. Even a little thicker!! So happy about that. I would say as long as you choose wisely "Greathairday" you'll be ok. These girls seem to know who to go to.. take care..

Do you have pictures of you & your lacefront? I've always wanted to try one. I haven't seen a lot of caucasian girls wearing lacefronts though, I wonder why...
Yep customer service is the key. If someone is a little rude I can get over it, but glamourhair really crossed the line to me. It's too bad because one nasty person doesn't represent the whole company..oh well..
I agree with what you said about skin wefts. Especially now that the price of hair has gone so high, customers should get exactly what they pay for.
