For yall that cut your own hair, have you found it better to brush before you cut, or comb.

both, you should be brushin ya ass off before you give yourself a cut, then when you go to give yourself the cut, you should comb your hair before you start cutting and be using the comb while you're cutting.  after you finish up, brush with the softy to get rid of the loose hairs

^^^ Exactly, combing your hair before cutting it allows for a more defined even cut. Hell not all professional barbers comb their hair before they cut it....I think its a must.

I like to comb before the cut to get everything giong in the right direction. The brush afterwards to get all the loose hairs out.
