It seems as if we have the same hair texture

and I've been using your technique for the past 3 days because I just started Saturday but I have Pink Moisturizer Lotion instead of the carrot cream.

Is the carrot cream mandatory? and is the pomade mandatory at the beginning stages?

This picture was taken Saturday before starting the wave process ::

I aint Stormy Seas but whether your product is Carrot Cream, Olive Cream, Pink Lotion, Indian Hemp, some sort of pomade etc etc....just make sure you understand that products under any circomestance gives you waves. And since your not waving you don't need pomade. Keep up with the brushing tho.

Me and Stormy also have the same texture I also use Pink Oil Moisterizer, but I think your question is method specific and I'm not too familiar of SS's method so just shoot him a pm.
