the best day of my life!!!!!

hi i have been browsing this site for about 1 year but i have never written im eric im 27 ithis story is about my wife who is 24 i met her when she was 19 back in 1997 she was working at the movies and i was there on a date i saw her at the ticket counter all i noticed was how nice her hair and eyes were at the time her hair was blue/ black and she had very blunt bangs (the tips of the bangs were light blue) her hair was straight and a little past her shoulders her eyes are ice blue the nicest eyes ive ever seen
during the movie i went out to use the bathroom i went up to her and said you are the cutest girl ive ever seen and you have awesome hair .... then i hurried away she said wo! wo! wo! come back here
who are you i said eric..she said that was very nice of you thanks i said do you have any boyfriend right now she said not now why??? once we were dating i met her parents the night i met them i went to her house for dinner i noticed her high school grad. pic on the wall she had short brown hair no bangs and looked flamingly hot

i told her i thought she was super hot with that haircut she said NO WAY! i hated my hair like that
i was bummed i have been asking her to cut her hair
to her chin for almost 5 years she never has!
there always seems to be a reason why she cant cut it my sisters weding, holidays she always says i need my hair long for this or that

i was almost begging her a year ago literally she finally said when i have a baby ill cut all my hair off ok?
i said why when you have a baby she said that she wouldnt have time for her hair then we have been married for 2 years and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 mos. NO LUCK

yesterday morning her hair was long about mid-back
it is brown now and she had long bangs to her chin
(she has grown out of the punky color stage she once had blue tips and yellow tips also had red red streaks her bangs were all different colors but now she works so she has it done brown, her natural color) i left for work yesterday not knowing anything was up

i came home around 4 and i saw her car usually im home first when i came in THERE SHE WAS her long brown hair GONE i almost died!!! she had cut her hair and was crying i didnt need her to tell me i knew the answer.......i said oh my god your pregnant!!! it was such an unreal feeling first realizing she was pregnant (finally) and then realizing her hair was cut so cute WOW i was trembling what a great night...............

it turns out she knew she was pregnant wed. but waited to get her hair cut so id figure it out
she looks amazing her hair is cut very short its about 1 inch past her chin in front but the back is cut higher up on her neck just long enough so it did not have to be buzzed it is so very adorable she is now gorgeous with her short bob brown bob and pretty blue eyes i cant tell you how cool it was that she did this plus she said she kinda likes it

I think that your news is great! I am so happy for you and your wife. I don`t think that you have coerced your wife into anything, and the person who posted that nasty, last note doesn`t know jack. A lot of men do not take the time to notice their wives and admire them. You obviously think your wife is beautiful, hair long or short, and let her know that you feel this way. I`d rather have a man with opinions than an apathetic idiot.

i`d have to say i agree with you--if eric`s wife wanted her hair a certain way, he should have honored her wishes. However, all`s well that ends well I suppose.

It`S the nagging that`S wrong. Your preference sounds more like begging. That`s (using a clothes example) like saying "why no red tonight" and mentionning it every 20 minutes.

There`s a difference between having an opinion and forcing it on others. We both see black and white the same, it`s just the greys in between.
