Hey, everyone.

I posted a topic where people gave me good advice, but I really need help again. I'm so confused because there are so many different products out there.

My hair is damaged and someone told me to use redken strength products. I really want to, but there's so many things out there. What exactly should I get? Just the shampoo and conditioner? Does it say something special? Is there anything else I should get?

Also I was told to do a protein treatment. But what kind is best? I feel very out of my element with the hair stuff Confused I'd really appreciate your opinion of the best protein treatment. It'd help a ton, because I'm pretty broke and I don't want to waste my money if it's not good. However, I'm willing to pay if it *will* work.

Thanks so much!

Sorry no one's helping you on this.  I never tried Redken, but I've heard lots of people love the All Soft.

The only heavy conditioning treatment I've ever tried was Ion (which I got from Sally).  It came in a one use envelope and only costed a little over a buck.  I liked it.  I don't know if it really fixed any problems in a big way, but I used it plenty of times each time right after dyeing my hair and it always made it feel much nicer.

hey there.....i have tried the strength product from redken when my hair was breaking off and it stopped instantly....highly recommend this line of products....and for deep conditioning i would go for schwartzkoph bonacure rescue.....they too have bonacure shampoo and conditioner that really do help damaged hair....get that strength product from redken though for sure.
