I ordered some hair from the Asian vendor Beautymax.com and here's my experience:
I contacted Beautymax and told them I wanted to do a small order to see if I like their hair and maybe order larger orders in the future. So, I ordered two wefts of 22" hair color #613. As with all Asian vendors, they only take Western Union or bank money transfer. I was told that the order would be shipped 10 days after receiving payment.
Well I paid with Western Union and waited two weeks, not hearing anything. So I emailed and they responded, saying their factory is just so busy right now, and I have to wait my turn to get my order.
I emailed them every few weeks asking about my order, and they responded that I need to be patient. My gosh, I'm only ordering two wefts, why should it take so long for them to ship that out?
Finally after 6 weeks go by, I'm contacted and they say that they only have 1 weft in #613 , 22" length and 1 weft in #613, 18" length, and will I accept that? Well, I paid for two 22" wefts, but after waiting so long, I just want something for my money, so I say ok.
Then about 5 days after that, I am contacted again, now they say that they can send me 1 weft in #613, 22" length and 1 weft in 18" length in PURPLE! I never mentioned that I wanted purple hair! Again, I said fine just send me something. I will wear the purple or I can sell it to my clients for clip in purple highlights.
I finally got the two wefts yesterday, it's going on about 8 weeks since I placed the order. I'm not impressed. Each weft looks really sparse. I weighed each one, and they are around 3.5 ounces. It's single drawn hair, but this hair looks extremely stringy, in that most lengths are 'shorties' and just a few lengths are the full length.
Keep in mind that since they shipped this out to me, they keep pestering me for my next order. I think I will pass.
So the search for affordable good hair still continues....
Oh sorry to hear about that order Metal! That sucks. Really appreciate this review, though. I will stay faaaar away from that vendor. At least you gave them a try!
Love clip-ins and tape!

Tell them you are ready to place a BIG order, and "the checks in the mail" If they bother you just block em' on your computer. They deserve a lot worse than that anyway.
The sales rep keeps emailing me and asking for another order. So I emailed her back explaining that the long wait was unacceptable and I got stringy hair and not even the color I wanted. This is what she emailed me back, which I found quite funny:
"for that samples i found that our factory don't send me the fresh samples but old samples from show room, the hair is displayed in the show room at 1.5 years.
we have better quality, it is remy hair, it wil not tangle at all, all of our clients love them
how about you try a small trial order with us, such as 10pcs, i promise you that our new hair wefts and hair quality will impress you a lot"
So, why did it take almost 8 weeks to send me samples you had sitting around your showroom for 1.5 years? Why would you even send out goods that you knew were inferior if you're trying to get a new customer.
