Ok girls here's the deal, after impatiently waiting for 30 days for my custom thin skin from yiweidu I just got an email saying it is going to be shipped tomarrow with a picture.... and I was shocked when I saw that my unit is a dark to med. ash blonde! kinda like what tyra was wearing a few months ago. Well anyway I already know that I am gonna have to color it and I was wondering if anyone has ever colored a thin skin unit b4? I may only have to do lowlights, but idk until it comes. O and I forgot to say that it is completely my fault, I wanted a level 5 unit with 12 and 18 hilites but I left out the level 5 in my breakdown of how I wanted the highlites, I mean I said 50% 12 and 50% 18! idk what the h*ll I was thinking!!!!!!!
Here is the color I want with a few more lighter highlights than she has-
I really don't want to color the whole unit beacuse it's 22inches and I dont want the color to affect the thin skin. and I dont hate the color, I just think it's too ashy and flat of a color for me! So I think I am going to just do heavy weaved lo-lites (using foils) with a 6g or maybe 7g and 10vol and then a few bleach pieces with 20vol on the top. I just want a subtle highlite, I think I should have my desired look then. what do ya think?
