I keep hearing for some time that "over the counter" hair dye is not good, it has too much ammonia and is really damaging for our hair.
Anyway for those of us that are doing this at home what other hair dyes exist out there? And where should we purchase them?

go to a sally's.....they sell several different brands of dyes....like the loreal professional.....it costs less and what you do is buy your own processing lotion and follow the directions....it is sooo easy and costs so much less...ion is a good brand.....take a look around...it is a wonderful place.
