I was wondering can clip-in extensions be put in a smooth high ponytail.

Hi, you definitely can put your hair up with clip-ins, but it really depends on how much hair you clip in and the placement. You can get buckling/puckering if you don't put them in right.  Also, the heaviness of piece or clip-ins can play a factor --- you may need a lot of clips to keep it up!
