From double ash to blue boosters my red keeps showing though!  From dying it blonde to med ash brown... all I hear about it my red hair.  Sure, it looks nice but I have pink pink skin and very fair.  orange is just not my color! I would like a nice coooool dark blonde color ideally.  Ive been to the best of the best colorists and no one can cut this red!  What gives?
(Yes, I have tried adding blue to everything...blue shampoo, violet shampoo... conditioners, color additives..you name it.  And if anyone knows of a really good colorist in Oakland County Michigan, PLEASE let me know.
Thanks,

Hmmmm, wouldn't you have to BLEACH it, not just use blonde hair color, to get all the red/orange/yellow undertones out of it?

You need to bleach it to the color of the inside of a banana peel, www.goblonde.net   Go to that website and you'll get help : )

Then you have to tone it after you bleach it to get the color you want.

Or have you tried that already?    Good luck. But you may have to wait for it to grow out some first before you bleach if you've done a lot of colorings on your hair, so it's really healthy when you bleach.

Hi, if you're trying to maintain the dark hair with no red, then you HAVE to keep going over it (pigment packing) every month with a semi or demi colour until it stays. Also, your hair is likely very porous and needs treatments (protein) so the colour won't leach out. Do a treatment every week and use colour-depositing conditioners to maintain your colour. Healthy hair holds on to colour better. Good luck!
Love clip-ins and tape!
