Hi guys...I have a question about my hair and was wondering if anyone could help...
I`m 21 and have long (mid to lower back) dark brown hair, fairly thick but soft, and mostly straight (a little bit of wave). I don`t really want to cut it but I`d like to do something different with it...I kind of want it to be both hip and romantic, but don`t have any idea how to get that. I`ve thought about maybe curling or highlighting but wanted to get some other opinions...
Is it better to just do temp curls or perm, which I know damages the hair? Is long, curly/wavy hair even "in" anymore? Not that that it makes *that* much of a difference or anything, but it is nice to know what`s the trend. Any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

I think long curly/wavy hair is gorgeous and never goes out of style. My best advice is to go with the temp curls. You can tie your hair in rags and get really great curls without damage to your hair.
Hair your length can be braided and look terrific. One of the best sites with examples and directions is the Dreamweaver: http://www.dreamweaverbraiding.com/
