Hi ladies
I am a newbie and really excited to be here. I am the first to admit my ignorance about healthy hair, but you ladies have educated me. There's a place where I can go, ask specific questions and not feel dumb for asking - right here! Thanks tons cuz I already see some results and I'm just getting started!

I have a question about color. I want to go as natural with the least amount of damage possible. I have dark blonde hair that is starting to gray and I was hoping I might get some recommendations. hair is chin length; last relaxer was over 2 months, at which time I put in a VERY dark brown temporary rinse. the brown is just now starting to come completely out, after all this time Confused. I really just want to cover the gray and give make the blonde shinier.

I'm still trying to nail down a regimen for myself. I moisturize every other day w/ Profectiv; seal w/ WGO; co-wash w/ Suave Humectant 3-4x a week; wash w/ Cream of Nature and deep condition 1-2x a week; use Triple Moisture Leave In and I'm making a MN mix w/ coconut or palm nut oil (I'm a fan of Ojon and am curious); keep my hair in 2 french braids. overall, I'd say my hair is in pretty good shape since swearing off the chemicals, which is why I want to color the gray as gently as possible.

As for my coloring options, I'm thinking one of the following in one of the blonde colors: Bigen Expressive(the regular Bigen colors are too dark); Naturtint or Herbatint; Rainbow or Surya Henna. Any and every one who might have recommendations or suggestions - I am all ears!

mad peace to all of you

I was going to suggest checking into Henna...I have not yet used it but it appears to be a natural way to cover grays.

thank you blackhoney. I'm definitely leaning more towards henna.
