Can't really say family; haven't used them. But, Dub-C's advice is right on point because it all depends on your hair texture. I use Motions moisturizer, Murray's light, and Let's Jam pomade occasionally for extra hold. Experiment.

Trial & Error fam, in the beginning everyone was on the Carrot Cream tip don't get me wrong its a great product for certain textures. With my texture Indian Hemp was the product that did it for me.
REMEMBER PRODUCTS DON'T GIVE YOU WAVES, BRUSHING & KEEPING YOUR HAIR HEALTHY DOES.

I STARTED OFF USING CC THEN WHEN THAT RAN OUT I TRIED OC. I THINK OC WORKS BEST FOR ME. AS FOR 360 POMADE I LIKE THAT S*** I USE WHEN IM NOT WOLFING MAINLY AFTER A FRESH CUT. ITS GOOD CUZ ITS LIGHT AND IT ADDS REAL GOOD SHINE WITHOUT THAT CAKED UP LOOK.
I've used Softee's Indian Hemp before, it works pretty well and it also helped to lay down the stray hairs and added some shine and depth to my waves. But the problem i had with it was that it felt to greasy but other than that its a great product. But i guess it really depends on what you prefer and what you think/or know is best for your hair.
Yeah the products are good, just depends on what works best for you. You just have to try different products out, i didnt like the pomades to much, so i switched to olive oil, and that keeps my hair healthy and strong!!
