I'm still on a quest trying to find the perfect hair that will last at least
3-6 months without having to deal with tangling or matting of the hair.
Currently I'm wearing Bohyme but I must have received a bad batch or so since it tangles like crazy and also the color starts to look like doll's hair
I've came across this website www.Manefactory.com that is selling hair but was wondering before I'll spend a couple of hundreds if the hair is really of good quality.
So the question is, does anyone has experience with this hair or vendor or can recommend another site where I could buy qualitative hair.
The best, best, best hair out there is wagmans virgin remy, it will with stand perming, coloring and anything else, it truely is the best hair out there, I wouldnt try anything else, and the best part about it is ,if the hair isn't curly enough you can perm it, too light or too dark, color it, what else could you ask for and to top it all off the customer service is great, return policy great ask for Lois or Patty, they will hand pick any request tell them Carol sent you! good luck, you won't be disappointed
I always thought Bohyme was good, but I also had a wonderful batch from HisAndHer hair once (way back in the day; it was almost black though).
I've always found that with human hair extensions, the lighter the hair, the worse the quality. The darker colors seem to be much better quality. For platinum hair, I've had better luck with synthetic. Good luck. :)
Hi. I have now been wearing virgin Russian hair in dark brown straight and it will be one year on July 7th. The hair is STILL gorgeous. Soft, shiny, never tangles. However, it’s not cheap and is virgin hair. I noticed no changes at all from one wash to the next. The hair is expensive however if it can be worn almost indefinitely, then cost wise, it seems it would balance out because you do not need to purchase more for a long period of time.

Stay AWAY from The Mane factory. I bought hair from her and it was (IS) a nightmare, the hair matted and tangled TERRIBLY on day 3 and it was crawling and matting like crazy within an hour of brushing, and I really take care of my hair. So, I complained to her and she basically told me 'tough sh*t". ummmm..very rude person and the worst hair I've ever bought.

If your budget is a few hundred dollars, try the ebay seller: Sampook/The hair extension boutique, I've bought from her several times and her hair is phenomenal (my favorite to date)
Difficult one because hair is normally either completely changed or sections are changed during maintainence. Washing more than once a week and not using specially designed hair extension products can all have an effect on how long the hair will last.
I think what you are doing at the moment is best, testing for yourself because different brands and types are prefered by different ppl.
