I have been having a major problem with my scalp for over a year now.  It is dry all the time and it seems no matter what I do nothing helps.  I have tried moistuizing treatments, oils, you name it...I've tried it.  I don't want to have to spend a truckload of money to see a dermatologist as some people have suggested.  Someone please help me!!!

Hey PrincessB. I know a dry and flakey scalp can be very frustrating. I've started using a few drops of tea tree oil which I usually add to an oil of some sort and use it as a prepoo on my scalp and hair. It's cut down on the itchies a lot. My oils include olive, jojoba, and almond to name a few. Also, I read about a brown sugar head scrub where u apply the mixture to the scalp only with ur fingers, scrub the scalp in a circular motion for a few minutes, rinse and shampoo/condition as usual.

Ingredients: 4 tbsp brown sugar + 2 tbsp of ur favorite conditioner.

*I've never tried this recipe so my advice would be to test this on an inconspicuous area and wait 24 hrs to see if u have an allergic reaction.
Hope this helps!
