Should my 3 yr. old wear braids to school just because his brothers do? I say ponytails that are braided my sister says braids. I say keep his hair cut to a certain length , she says let it grow ( i keep all his brothers hair cut to a certain length- whats the difference). Tell me which one of us is right? I will post pics later. He will only be in school a half day.
Sounds like you two both want to decide how his hair is going to be - that's fine for when he's 3, but I hope you will be ready to let him have what he wants when he is old enough to care. There's no answer to who is right and who is not in this situation, but if the only reason for him to wear one style is because his brothers wear it, that isn't really a good reason. The general rule is, when a kid is too young to decide for himself, the main caretaker (usually a parent) gets to decide.

Thank You so much. I do let my older ones suggest what hair style they want and I try my best to do it. Now that they are older they don't want their hair too long anymore but not cut off so I cut their hair and they are happy, but it was my sister that thought I was wrong. Thanks again.
