Would I look good in an Almost shaven head?

I have a hair whorl like most people at the backward right side of my head. But also, I have a hair whorl at the front right side of my head(keep you finger at the middle of your eye brow, move the finger upwards(while still in contact with the forehead) until you touch your (head)hair. Thats where my whorl is. It's not complete, it's like, half a whorl.

You can make out in the second pic that my hair, if kept long, cannot cover my forehead at that part where the whorl is.
You see, the hairstyles I can try with longer hair are less because of that.
Right now I have hair 1.5-2cms longer than the Crew cut image here:

Now, do you think I would look good in the 'Short Crew Cut' style on that page? Or would the 'Crew Cut' look better? Or should I stick to medium-ish hair?
I am 15, am a bit overweight(someone can easily make out but still am not too overweight). My face is oval in shape, and there's no(or only a bit) fat on my face.

Also, if not this hairstyle, can you suggest some other ones that'd suit me?
