Hi,

I have posted on here a little bit awhile back.  I am still growing my hair and its a little past brastrap length.  My problem is I have a five month old and he is always yanking on my hair.  I need some easy updo ideas so I can keep him from pulling it.  Also for those times when I don't have time to take a shower.  I would like something messy with hair sticking out that is not flat to my head.  I hate updos that are plastered to your head I like fullness.  My hair is wavy so it would look fine if I had some pieces.  Do you have any suggestions for something quick and easy like what I am describing?  Thanks in advance.

Try using a claw clip or similar clip. Just pile the hair up out of his reach and clip into place. That should allow pieces to fall about and look messy but good. I'm sure if that made any sense at all. I use a clip called a Karma Clip that I found at walmart its holds really long/thick hair well and you can use it to make several different updos.

With hair your length, you should be able to do a chignon updo, an elegent stylish look. Or just a simple bun, perhaps with a headscarf wrapped over it.
