Does anyone know how the silk straight bohyme hair holds up? I'm tempted to get it, but I currently am wearing the egyptian wave which is soo awful. Its sad cuz i heard so many great things about it, and my batch was awful. it looked great the first few weeks then it started shedding like crazy. I'm very tempted to go back to his and her hair goods, their hair DOES NOT SHED AT ALL. So the straight hair from bohyme, is it very very fine? I'm a black woman who lovess straight hair but I want something thick enough to blend with my straight micros in the front. I would just like as little shedding possible.

eloise, you could use a weft sealer on your wefts to prevent or minimize the shedding.
 
The Bohyme SS is not real fine, buts its very silky and sleek. Some people say they dont get shedding, I always have experienced at least a small amount of shedding that usually slows down/stops after a week or so. Then dont really have any shedding issues after that. The quality of the hair is great.  I have no complaints with quality and I can reuse the hair for several months. IMO the SS is the most durable texture in Bohyme's line.

I always seal my wefts. I get some hair that I love, but I don't like shedding at ALL, so you can either sew it with a fine ballpoint needle and small machine stitch and/or use the Aileens sealer they sell at Michaels OR use the weft sealer at H101, I'm planning on trying that as well, since I've read great things about it.

Typically, if you use a glue to seal the weft, it takes 3-5 days to cure.
