i just watched on vh1 the 25 power ballads. which got me thinking this could be a good thread. most of the bands had long hair. what are you favorite rockers? they can be from any decade
mine are
1 bon jovi- long or short hair
2. gun-n-roses- i wanted to cry when axl rose had to cut his hair when he went to jail
3. arosmith
3. def leppard
4. poison-i have a funny story when i was in jr. high
5. whitesnake
some of these bands i didn't like until i was older.

You know where I stand on Bon-Bon (we talked about our respective encounters on a different board).

- David Coverdale (Whitesnake)
- Pat Badger (Extreme)
- Joey Tempest (Europe)
- Morten Harket (A-Ha circa "Memphis" when he has long hair)


There are also a great bunch of long-haired guys in the metal scene in London as I am finding out .

also the group Extreme they had nice long hair.
The Nelsons mathew and gunner.
red hot chili peper before anothony[lead singer] before he cut his hair. i was bummed when i saw he cut and dyed it.

I agree, membership is free, but I do think members must demonstrate their enthusiasm for the handsome longhairs by a suitable display of gushing.

EXAMPLE (aimed at Morten, in this instance):

Oh mY GOD.....he is waaaay too GORGE....just look at those tawny locks shimmering in the wind...really enhances his maleness...dizzy ......BANG ....CLUMP! (drat, who put a lampost there?)

the story about poision. [this was when poision wore make up] my friends and i were looking at the cover of the tape in class. this guy saids ''oh let me see those chicks!'' '' they look hot!'' we started laughing and said there guys not chicks! LOL
