how to conceal extensions in braided do's?

The girl in the photo below is apparently wearing extensions (either pinchbraids or fusion). I say apparently because this photo is from a period when she probably wore extensions, and I doubt she would remove them just for one hairstyle. I also doubt that this is actually a lace front wig.

The question is, if she is wearing extensions, surely they would be visible in a style such as this? Could the picture be photoshopped?

at the base of the braid by the nape ... its her hair braided on the scalp ... but where the hair disconects at the nape that is where the extension would be added

She's using loose hair, not wefts.
You can braid the loose hair in with the french braid, or add it at the nap just above where her own hair stops like intl babygirl said. The only way to tell if it's extensions is the hair looks too long and too healthy to be real.
