hi
i have naturally dark brown curly/wavy hair.
this summer i had it chemically straightened and colored within a day or two of each other. it fried my hair. i have since shaved my head twice, and received multiple haircuts but apparently to no avail...for my hair's still growing in strange...it covers the scalp, but no longer appears curly...shouldn't once i had shaved my head -- got all the damaged hair off and it should've grown back normal right?

my hair is really spikey when i try to comb it up...

my hair is #4 guard on top and a #2 guard on sides...it's short...but, it spikes awful!

what do i need to do to get my hair back to normal curly hair like i used to have? i've even seen a dermatologist they thought it was fine...but, they didn't even run tests they just felt my hair and said it feels ok...

i want my curly hair back...and i want to know what i should do to get it back.

Umm wow
Well I think your first mistake was gettign your hair straighten and the colored at the same week. A big no no for people of causcasian decendant. Since you said your hair is fried after those chemical sessions, i guess you have fine hair. Very sensitive to chemicals, I think you should have just deep condition you hair to return it back to its natural softness, instead of shaving it. Since you did and it grows funny, all I know that you can do is to be patient. I mean you havent been patient when you did you chemical things, so now is the time to be patient and just let the hair grow normally. And dont tease it to much
