So I've had my extensions (fusion) done but I'm not sure they've been done properly.
I feel pulling between each individual extension the lady who did them said it when a stray hair gets caught on the bond and she cut a few of those hairs out which I'm a little upset about cause now when I remove them I'll have all those little short hairs  amongst my longer hair  but is that even supposed to happen.
Secondly the sections she did were not very straight or even, it seemed like she just placed them were she felt like in no particular order.
They dont feel flush to my head like they feel raised and every time I press on my head I feel tension like the bond is pulling also the little sections of hair that fix to the bonds are not even either like there's bit of hair from the top and bottom it's not a nice square chunk.
I don't whant to damage my own hair but I figured if I'm feeling tension that's not a good sign.
What should I do, I feel like I wanna complain but I've only had them in a few hours (really not happy about her cutting the strays) but I spent a fair bit on them and at the moment I feel like I've wasted money and I think they overcharged me for the hair.
They didn't give me a reciept either so if I do complain the may say I hadn't got them done there.

Here are some pictures.

Sounds a predicament!

I gotta be honest, those bonds look fine to me. Yes, they're quite high up but if you have shorter layers then sometimes you need to do that.

I have some people that come back saying they're not comfortable with their bonds but i make it clear that the bonds will hurt your head for a few days. Extensions are really weird at first and feel quite alien and that takes some getting used to. I'd recommend that you give it a bit longer before deciding to do anything rash.

The cutting of the hair is better than ripping it out. I've heard some real horror stories about that kind of stuff! I really don't see that you'll have any damage to your hair but it takes a leap of faith.

Ioften find that the biggest problems come from extensionists who charge very low prices so if you paid less than $400 (about £200)  then I'd be wary. However. thats more from a hair point of view. Any more than that and you're looking at good quality hair. Extensions are very costly I'm afraid!

Have you contacted the extensionist? I'd say go back and have a word with them and they'll remove the ones you don't like. I wouldn't remove them though, such a shame and waste ofmoney.

Go and ask for a receipt and if you're really unhappy then see about a compromise. You only need to get angry if they can't be bothered or if they're unreasonable (but I doubt you'd have let them near your hair if you didn't like them?) From that veiwpoint I'm sure they'll be reasonable.

I doubt you'll get a full refund but you may get something if you're really dissatisfied. Make sure you talk to them before doing too much because its only fair to give them the chance to rectify.

I'm trying toplay devils advocate as I too am an extensionst and like everyone else, have had the odd problem. I always advise my clients to come back to me so that we can talk things through. Give them the chance first.

Good luck with it! Hope you get it sorted. x

They look normal to me.  Those bonds are even smaller then I am used to and I cut them in half!

You are always going to have a few stray hairs... thats kinda normal.  Give it a few days... it took me about a week to get used to my first fusion install

Actually, I think they are a lil large, especially some of the lower ones. BUT in my opinion, they should have NEVER been placed so high. I don't care how thick your hair is, it is impossible to hide bonds that high up.

the sections are not neat and clean. there should never be any pulling from each section nor any cutting either.
the sections should be the same width as the hair width that is being installed.
the bonds are large and i agree with studio, they should never be placed so high up.
Did you research this stylist, see her work, get references, did she put a sample in to show you her work BEFORE you chose to go to her?
you need to go back and have her look at it to start with.
