Hello, everyone! Obviously, I'm new around here, but not quite (I'm a lurker).
Anyway, I recently bought some great 22" #1 human hair extensions. They're Pre-u-Tipped.
I've done a lot of research on them and I have all of the tools. When I went to install them myself () I completely messed up and several of the bonds are 3 inches long, chruncy, and completely uncomfortable. My sister did the one's in the back. When I went to look at them, so many of the bonds were completely showing. I've only had them for about a day. I went to Sally's and bought bond remover and it made everything worse. Now, my hair is tangled, bonds showing, oily, horrible looking, and just plain uncomfortable.
They're so pretty, I'd hate to just take them out, but at this point, I'm not sure if I care.
I'm thinking, maybe I can call a local beauty school and beg them to reinstall them for cheap. I don't have much money after buying them.
Do you think I could get them to help me for cheap?
Most of the time you will get what you pay for. There are some exceptions sometimes. When it comes to hair extensions, I would not advise anyone to go the 'cheap' route, that's a recipe for disaster.
Fusion is one of the more advanced hair extension techniques and it takes a lot of practice to apply them with the proper sectioning, tension, etc to have good results that are non damaging for your hair.
If I were you, I'd go to the beauty school and let them take them out for you, but ONLY if they know how to take them out properly. If they can't do it there, you will have to pay a professional to do it.
Since you are on a budget and want to do your own extensions, I'd look for a method that is easier to apply to oneself, like taped in wefts.
