QuoteReplyTopic: Curling Long Fine Hair - Which rollers? Posted: November 24 2008 at 6:20am
Just wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom they can gace me with!
I've got long, fine hair that really doesn't like to hold a curl!! If I use tongs or GHD's to create a curl it lasts for half an hour before fall out and just looking a bit limp!
My hairdresser recommended I try setting it with heated rollers or heated bendy rollers - does anyone know which will work best?
Also, any additional tips would be greatly appreciated i.e. products etc.
Thanks so much!!
I want to achieve that tumbling sexy curls look, where the hair is curled from half way down. Kind of like the below pictures - I will find the exact look in my hair magazines when i get home and scan it in: -

Some of those look like they can be created with a large barrel curling iron. That 3rd one looks like it could be done with a flat iron or curling iron and just flip the ends out and do a very loose curl.
I would try a setting lotion before you apply rollers, I haven't had the best of luck with experimenting with rollers just yet.
I haven't found a good finishing spary to help keep the curls
