Well I finally had all the black stripped off my hair.  After the 2nd stripping and coloring, it is like an auburn color with the ends being almost being a mahogony color. 

It is about time to have it colored again and I wanted to ask if I would be safe using a Caramel brown color?  I am not sure what results I will get with this auburn reddish base color that I have now????
 
Some of my friends have suggested that I go with a reddish brown color to bring out my blue eyes but I have heard that the red color is hard to remove just like the black color, is this true.

Your best bet is to do a strand test on the area you have concern for. Yes red is the fastest colour to fade, but hardest to totally remove from the hair.
