Honestly, I wouldn't have time to do a thing to it. I'd be too busy trying to see loved ones.
So I would look my normal "Just got out of bed, haven't even combed it yet" look.
But assuming I'm trying to impress St. Peter? I'd sleep in rollers the night before and take them out no more than hour before my trip to the pearly gates.

Oh me too...I'd be with my parents and boyfriend as long as possible....but really what I'm trying to get people to share is what they would do to their hair if it really didn't matter how it looked or if the results were disastrous.
Me: I'd cut it all off to about 1-inch just so I could experience having hair that short. And I might dye it blond.

Lyris. This idea of yours to try a short crop style.
I wear my hair in a close cropped afro, cut close to the scalp. I have been wearing my hair this short for years and I get many compliments from the men folk many of them dig it, and women mention to me they would like to try wearin their hair as short as mine. Why wait till you are nearly dead? Don't need to wait till judgement day girl to try a short style!!!!!You want a short crop you go for it Lyris!!!!! You would be amazed girl at the reaction you'll get,mostly favorable!!! I've seen your picture Lyris on another thread you are a lovely girl you could certainly pull off a short style pretty woman that you are!!!!!
Well Lyris - This is a tough oand GOOD question! Tough because that situation you pose is quite a real one. One day it could be and will be....BUT, what i want is not plausible in one day.
If i were the last day I guess I would want it to be down to my waist and color it an almost black brown color.
Melba makes a good point about the other possiblility of going super short - I feel I can do that any day! Just have to walk into a salon and say GO FOR IT.
This topic is a good one Lyris becasue deep down inside, I think everyone here wishes their hair was a certain way, but can't do it because of society, boyfriend, insecurity, etc. Miaking it the last day of the world is like saying, "know what? I don't care about those things, it 's the last day of the wworld". In reality we should all be living like it is the last day NOW. Do the things we wish we could have done and ignored all of those societal pressures and BE OURSELVES!!
I would hunt down Lyris.. give her a great shaggy layerd do around her shoulders with long sexy bangs then beg fo rmore days for the world so she could show it off to everyone. Since she would have seen the light and loved her new look more than her one lenght on the grow look.
This guy would go for something really wacko, really really different to my current style. I think I'd get my hair dyed pink or purple, permed into ringlets or spiral curls, and get my ears pierced.

If I knew it was my last day on Earth, why would I care about my hair? I wouldn't even brush it. I would want to spend every last second talking to (and hugging) my mom and friends.

Me too, Tap Dancer. I can't think of what I would do. That's why I've been reading this board and not posting a reply. I pretty much like it the way it is. BTW, I love your new Snoopy avatar! Nothing can make you feel all warm and furry inside like Snoopy and Woodstock can. OK, except maybe Grover!
But if I have to choose something... Maybe I'd splurge on $5,000 extensions, since money wouldn't be good to me anymore.
And everytime I watch a Drew Barrymore movie, especially Boys on the Side, I get the urge to cut it to a short bob and get a perm. Maybe I'd do that. And wear red lipstick.

I wear my hair in a short pixie/crop and I have never in my life colored my black hair, whether my hair was waist length, in a bob cut or a very short style. I have allways been a brunette. I just don't like the idea of changing my hair color.
But I would like to try a very short crop in platinum blonde like Susan Powter used to wear her hair, just a cute platinum crewcut. I would like to see what I would look like as a tan-complected, dark eyed Mexican-American woman with a blonde crewcut! Susan Powter herself has dark eyes and I do think she looked great in that short platinum look!
It would probably destroy my hair going from jet black to platinum blonde(that's one reason I don't try it) but if it was the last day on earth and anything goes, why not try it!
I think I would get a between chin and shoulder length bob, and slightly curl it under. I've always had long hair, and although I love it, I want to experience short hair at least once in my life.
I would get thermal reconditioning, just to experience silky perfect smooth hair. I want this procedure so much but it is very costly and my hair is damaged enough by heat-styling and highlighting as it is.
