Darker Roots with Blonde Hair

Hey guys,

I dyed my hair blonde, and kinda messed it up, and thanks to this brilliant forum i managed to get my hair looking decent. Now i want to try and get my hair to the stage that i originally wanted my hair to look.

When i originally bleached it, i used a normal bleach all over and then use a level 8 violet to tone the blonde



Since then i have added some foils using a blue based bleach and again using the 8v toner.




What i would ideally like is to achieve more of a sun kissed "hippy" blonde. To do this i was going to do an all over bleach with a blue based bleach as alot of the hair still required more of a lift. From there i wanted to tone the hair either a 7 or an 8, and add a darker toner to the first inch of the fair to give more natural darker root and to help blend in my natural regrowth more, as i am naturally around a 5.

What i would like to know is what toners you would recommend to achieve this look? shade and base for roots and ends. As i have found that with the violet base it still has a red or orange undertones, making it a bit of a dark strawberry blonde. And basically do you think this sounds like a good plan or do you have a better recommendation.

A quick response would be appreciated as i would like to get my hair sorted for christmas :)
