Hello all, My name is Jeanette and I am fairly new to the extension world. I have clip in's (That I was WAY overcharged for. I know better now) and I have also had extensions glued in with Liquid Gold. The install was not done professionally, I purchased some cheap hair at local beauty store and had my sister in law glue them in. Considering it was our first time experimenting with extensions, they turned out pretty good. The only down fall was that I hated the fact I couldn't run my fingers through my hair. I kept them in for a week and a half and them the glue started flaking and it looked like I had dandruff so I decided to take them out.

NOW, I am interested in Fusion. Hot fusion with the keratin glue.. (Pardon if the terminology isn't correct.) Again, I am looking to do a DIY install, with the help of my sister in law and lots of tutorials, and threads. This is what i've gathered from the site so far. Bohyme hair is one of the bests. Right or wrong? If wrong, what other hair's a good quality and won't empy my bank? Pre tipped hair tends to be a little more pricey so buying wefts or bulk hair and tipping them myself is the cheapes route? I found a site that sells the Fusion starter kit with the looft thing and I would have to get the keratin pellets or the glue gun. My main question, where do I install them on my head? I know not to go to high and not to go too far into where the ears are but do I install a row  towards the bottom, skip a row, them one toward the middle? I'm clueless when it comes to that part. Also, How much hair do I order? how do I know?

Right now I have my hair a little longer than shoulder lenghth. It's naturally curly but I blow dry it about 2 times a week and flat iron it and it stays silky straight. (unless it's humid) My desired lenghth is probably half way down my back. My hair isn't too thick nor is it too thin. In between. Any guidance will be greately appreciated.

Thank you. :)

Thank you Princess. I've read nothing but great things about bohyme too. I just need some guidance as to where is the best place to order from. I plan on tipping the hair myself. (I'm trying get the beautiful hair on a budget) So, I would need to get the wefts since i've read it's easier doing it from wefts as opposed to bulk hair. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it. :)

YourHairShop.com has some great demos.

This is good for info on placement of the hair. I've used it myself twice, with good results using shrinkies (or shrink-links, or whatever they're calling them these days). Hope it helps!
If time travel were possible, everyone would keep going back to that one GREAT hair day!
