hair help?

thought I might like some input...I''''velost my way towards great hair lol

I have nat dark blonde hair that I hate...I''''mnot sure why but my hubby recently wrote on a form that I had brown hair and that reduced me to tears...I''''ve colored, highlighted, whatever for 15 years to avoid that.

AnywaybI''''m growing out a shaggy cut--no bangs--and have been using the loreal color expert instead of going to the salon for the last 6 months. my hair is straight and fine....what hairstyle should I go for? I''''m open to most anything but it needs to be flexible in that its ok for formal and/or business functions.

anyone have suggestions? oh also I''''m hairdryer impaired lol so nothing that requires a great blowout with brush :)
