I am sure you guys get questions similar to this all the time, and hopefully someone here can help me.

I am guilty of wearing a pony tail 90% of the time :( Mainly because I used to be in sports. However I stopped playing  about 4 years ago, and I have fallen into a routine of blow dry , pony tail because mainly I don't know what to do with my hair.

I am looking for some ideas and every day hair styles that are practical but is better than my bland straight hair and pony tail routine.  I have a picture below that is about a year old. My hair is longer now (mainly because I just let it grow because I don't know what to do)

I do need to keep it long enough for a pony tail once in a while though due to working around the house etc.

I am almost to 2 feet of hair and I need help!

Thanks !
Jess

some blunt bangs would look great as would an angled bob......
but it looks terrific as is
Long with BLUNT bangs or ALL cut to lip length, I cant decide my favorite!

Jessica, congrats on your little cutie! Wink  As for your hair, it looks perfect to me. Great on you. Maybe if you're bored, a little lighter blonding of 1/4" on each side of your part would be satisfying to you. I don't think that scissors can improve your hair, but if you must, go slowly. It's all too easy to take off hair, then regret later. Good luck, Bob

I love youtube, there are alot of great tutorials that show step by step hair styles,  So many different kinds of braids and hair accessories out there, i just started getting in to styleing my hair and i can tell you practice is the key (dd is my practic head), It only takes me a few minutes anymore to put my hair up in braids or a cute updo..

Jessica, there are 18 people looking at this with me right now -- and we're unanimous.

"Keep it the same!" the people exclaim.

Hey Jessica, your hair is gorgeous. Smile  I second Suicide Eve's suggestion for updos, there are so many ways to put your hair up, and hold it in place with decorative and functional clips.
