   I dyed my husbands hair. That was the first disaster. 
My husbands hair is completely grey.  We dyed it blonde but it was too blonde. We went to the store and purchased a light golden brown. It turned red. 

We purchased a dark blonde ash and that too turned his hair red. 

We realized we couldn't find the correct color so we did what we should have done at the start.... went to the salon. 

Its now a dark brown with carmel highlights. 

Its just toooooooooooooooo dark. 

I've red on the net to use Head N Shoulders... or Prell... that it will lighten the hair. 

Will it lighten it towards the red shade or blonde???? 

Any advice is appreciated...   maybe I should buy him a really BIG hat.
