QuoteReplyTopic: Hair crisis!! TOO short want extensions Posted: March 02 2009 at 5:58pm
Hi everyone. Well this lady layered my hair...the longest pieces in the back are 2 inches YIKES and it was supposed to be all one length...so i went and bought a clip in piece for the house and to wear around cause i HATE the way i look now. The problem is that i am starting a job as a waitress and have to wear my hair in a ponytail. I can't wear a reg. hair piece because the top of my hair is too short so i have to wear a headband with the clip in. The extensions at the salon are so expensive but i hate the way i look....advice please. I just hate this!!!

if your hairdo is a pixie, you cannot wear most of the hair extensions out there. So you may want to get a high quality wig to get you going for a few months.
That is true but can i wear that in a pony tail? I have to wear it up to wait tables...i have a good mind to just go show this lady how bad she screwed up my hair! Do you think a couple layers would fix it? and thanks for replying!!! Means alot to me!

I would look into skin wefts. You can run a search on here for them. I wear them and just installed them on my friend who has a pixie haircut and her hair is not more then 2 inches all around
and they are easy to install - I do my own actually. I cut mine into 2 inch pieces and sandwich them together. I have done my own fusion, microlinks and skin wefts and they are the easiest/cheapest to do
