I don't know if you have hair around it to sew it to, but if you can get in some good braids the closure piece from hairpiece.com is amazing. My friend wears it and it looks totally natural.

if you have hair to cover it up from the sides then I would darken the skin with some dark eyeliner to match color of the hair. that would hide it good. use waterproof kind is even better.

You can try a clip-in extension, get hair extensions that match your hair color and style (straight/curly) and make it yourself or buy ready-made clip-ins and clip them in over the spot and use the rest of your hair to cover it up/blend.
