I've used a dark red auburn hair dye which has turned out really dark brown, barely notice red in it... i'm annoyed with myself because before this my hair was brown with blonde highlights and i've messed it up! Is there anything I can do?? please answer! I have pale skin and hazel eyes if it helps.. please please answer xxx when it grows out i'm gonna go blonde but for now what can i do??

You may have needed a higher level of developer. The color could also lighten with time as you wash it. But if you're planning on going blonde, I would be really careful about that after putting a color on your hair with a red base. You could end up with pink hair. I would definitely have a professional address that.
ok i hear ya but do u think i could lighten it? i was thinking of getting the kits with maybe a light auburn and putting highlights with that, good idea yay or nay?
