hi well i was thinking about texturizing my hair i dont want it to be straight or anything just less nappy so i was thinking about texturizing but i dont know if i should im a guy and i wear braids so if i texturize my hair will still be braided as always there will be no afro so is it worth paying the money just so my hair can be less nappy and easier to braid also my hear gets try pretty badly does texturizing help with that

I don't know much about texturizing, but if your hair is dry, it needs moisture not chemicals.
And since your hair is going to be braided up most of the time, in my opinion it would be a waste of money and I don't know how damaging texturizers are to hair, I know its not as harsh as relaxers, but its chemicals none-the-less.
I completely agree with Princess. I know I'm like 2 months late on this so you've probably already made your decision by now lol but incase you haven't then I would suggest not texturizing. If your hair is dry then putting chemicals in your hair will only make it worse. And it's not really needed especially if it's going to be braided.
I would just invest in a good moisturizer that works well for you and apply that as often as needed to help the dryness. Combating the dryness will make your hair more manageable anyway!
