Help! Perm didn't take.... what to do!

Today I went to my stylist for a routine re- perm and my hair came out stick straight.  This has NEVER happened to me. I have gotten perms 2-3 times per year for the past 15+ years.
 
We have no idea what happened as she has used the same perm on me before.  I am on no new medications. I use a steroid nose spray for allergies.

My stylist is going to get a Redken perm and said she can re-perm me in 10 days.

Even though my hair feels healthy and looks good, and even though it is stick straight it still had chemical processes done to it.  Due to this fact I am VERY afraid another perm so soon will over-stress my hair.

I have always kept my hair in good condition, have used Redken Extreme shampoo, conditioner and extreme fuel pretty much exclusively for 4 years now. I use Infusium leave in conditioner and a gel/cream to finish.
