Yes, it will but it is not a miracle cure.

I have many clients who get color and/or perms for this reason.

One thing to remember with oily hair. Do not use shampoo for oily hair. It over drys it and makes the scalp produce more oil to compensate for the loss of oil.

I have very oily hair, if i dye my hair, will it make my hair more dry?
